This course will explore some easy to use tools that can greatly enhance and expedite the fraud audit process.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify the uses of auto filter in fraud auditing
- Recognize when auto filter and conditional formatting may be utilized to highlight exceptions
- Associate VLOOKUP and IFERROR functions with a need to compare lists
- Associate array formulas and certain text functions with a need to compare lists
- Identify and eliminate duplicate items
- Identify gaps in a sequence using Excel
- Recognize the uses of Benford's Law
