This course introduces you to the basics of programming in Python. The course will prepare you for intermediate courses and more advanced uses of the Python programming language. The course consists of 4 half-days of interactive lab sessions, where you will practice coding. No boring PowerPoint presentations, but live demos and hands-on exercises. The course is suitable for anyone interested in learning Python. You donât need any prior programming experience to participate in this course. After completing the course, you will have a solid foundation to continue your developer journey. Before the course, you need to install Anaconda. It is a free open source distribution of Python including the most important packages/modules. During the sessions, Jupyter Notebooks will be used for the exercises. You can test if the software is working correctly by opening âAnaconda Navigatorâ and following the steps in âRun Python in a Jupyter Notebookâ.
