Identity federation provides a single, centralized identity repository. AWS Directory Service allows you to centralize your Microsoft Active Directory-compliant solutions. Next, you'll implement identity federation for an external identity provider. You'll then work with the AWS Directory Service and domain join options. You'll configure AWS Simple AD and deploy an EC2 instance for Simple AD management. Lastly, you'll join an EC2 instance to Simple AD, and manage Simple AD users and groups.
