IT Skills     Cloud Computing and Virtualization     Microsoft     Planning and Configuring a Messaging Platform

Explore management and implementation of client access, including virtual directories, client access policies, the Autodiscover service, and Exchange certificates, in this 23-video course used to prepare for the MS-200 Planning and Configuring a Messaging Platform certification exam. Learners will start by exploring namespaces, including design, planning considerations, and models. You will then examine Client Access services in Exchange, Client Access Rule components, and using the Exchange Management Shell to create Client Access Rules. Next, you will look at troubleshooting connectivity issues, and the benefits of load balancing. Examine virtual directories including how to configure their properties, and external URLs for Outlook, as well as troubleshooting virtual directories. Learners will see a demonstration of how to create a web mailbox policy using the Exchange admin center, and how to remove a web mailbox policy from a mailbox. Then you will explore the Exchange AutoDiscover service including DNS requirements, Outlook configuration methods, and certificate requirements. The course concludes by examining digital certificates and encryption, certificates in Exchange, and self-signed certificates.
