Because you have limited resources and numerous goals, you must decide which few deserve your attention before others. When you set priorities, you establish a path for your goals. Your priorities will spring from a blend of considerations: business priorities based on strategic vision and values; realistic goals viewed in terms of importance, resources, and urgency; and personal values and personality types – yours and those of others in your work group.
